Tutorial: Upload Your First Document

Navigate to the Validator

Go to the Validator page from the main navigation menu. This is where all document analysis happens.

Select Your State

Choose your state jurisdiction from the dropdown. This determines which laws and regulations apply to your analysis. Your default state can be set in Settings.

Choose Input Method

Select how you want to provide your document:

  • File Upload: Upload .pdf, .doc, .docx, .txt, or .rtf files (up to 10MB)
  • Text Input: Paste document content directly
  • URL Analysis: Analyze documents from web links

Select Analysis Options

Choose which analysis types to run:

  • Statute Compliance: Check against state laws
  • Grammar & Clarity: Improve readability
  • Legal Formatting: Ensure proper structure
  • Improvement Suggestions: Get recommendations

Submit for Analysis

Click "Analyze Document" and wait for processing. Large documents may take 1-2 minutes. You'll see a progress indicator during analysis.
